Maryvale students volunteer to make bracelets for Kids Helping Kids, a grassroots initiative dedicated to raising funds and awareness for pediatric cancer research at Johns Hopkins.

"I joined Kids Helping Kids because something so small is so motivational for those kids. It may seem small for us, but for them, it's something really important and helpful," said Lilly N. '26. She added, "When I'm making bracelets, I'm with all my friends, it's a good way to bond. We pause for a moment and think about these bracelets going to Hopkins for kids who really need them, and it brings us all closer together."

Lucy S. '25 shared, "I just think it's really cool that we get to help other people. It gives them something to look forward to and makes the journey a little bit easier."
