Congratulations to the 2023-24 yearbook staff for winning the National Yearbook Program of Excellence Award with Gold Distinction. This is the FIRST time a Maryvale yearbook group has received the golden distinction honor.
The National Yearbook Program of Excellence Award is given based on the extraordinary efforts that go into creating a yearbook and making it accessible to every student. The Jostens criteria includes:
- A Meaningful Yearbook for All Students
- A Yearbook in Every Student's Hands
- Effective Project Management
The yearbook staff met deadlines throughout the year, hit certain sales numbers, and had a large portion of the student body in the yearbook a certain amount of times. Below is a list of the entire staff.

The winners were decided over the summer. Mr. Azzaro received the award this fall. During the young alumnae breakfast on Friday, December 20, we were able to get a picture of some of the members of the yearbook staff with the award!
