Works by Maryvale art students receive prominent recognition


Congratulations to the following students whose artwork is being prominently displayed:

  • Senior Carley Laue's "Spiral Koi" received Honorable Mention from the National Art Education Association (NAHS) and was one of 70 works selected from across the U.S. and is included in the 2020 NAHS/NJAHS Juried Exhibition Virtual Gallery until April 10. Carley also received an Honorable Mention from Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.
  • Senior Cailie Zeidler's "Broken Image" was one of 60 works selected for the NAHS/NJAHS Juried Exhibition Gallery Exhibit, on display until April 10.
  • Junior Arabella Tiskiewic and seniors Carley Laue and Cailie Zeidler are representing Maryvale at the Baltimore County Public Library's Young Artists Showcase 2020, an exhibit open to the public through March 29. The library system's Hereford Branch is featuring the 11th annual showcase.
  • Junior Lauren Ronald has artwork featured in an exhibition by the Baltimore County Arts Guild. Lauren's work is one of 45 pieces of artwork in a variety of media from six private schools and 10 Baltimore County Public Schools.
