What does the uniform look like?

Maryvale Uniforms

What is the average class size?
The average class size is 15 students with a 9:1 student-to-faculty ratio. With our manageable size, innovative teaching methods and flexible curriculum, we provide the individualized approach each girl needs to excel in all aspects of her education.

What type of devices do students use?
Students must supply their own devices. Any tablet or laptop with a diagonal screen between 8” and 14” is acceptable. All devices must have a keyboard either attached or Bluetooth.

We recognize that our focus on growing our technology and distance learning capabilities over the past five years is paying off during the COVID-19 pandemic. We continue to expand the technology needed to be successful and our faculty engaged in professional development during Summer 2020 to further improve our distance learning capabilities. Our goal is to continue providing the individualized instruction that our students and their families value.

During Summer 2020 we also enhanced our capabilities to support distance learning through the expansion of existing technology infrastructure.

How do I apply for Financial Aid?
Maryvale is committed to providing access to our invaluable academic, spiritual and co-curricular offerings for deserving students and supporting economic diversity in our student population. To this end, we offer financial assistance to families with demonstrated need. There is a separate Financial Aid application that must be completed by Dec. 18, 2020. Click here for additional information on the Financial Aid process.

What time does the school day start and end?
The academic day is from 7:55 a.m. to 3 p.m. School buildings open as early as 7:15 a.m. for morning drop off. Middle School students should be picked up by 3:30 p.m. unless they are involved in a supervised, after-school activity. Maryvale’s After-School Supervision Program is available until 5:30 p.m. and is provided at the additional cost of $400 per student per semester. For the 2020-2021 school year, all students need to be off campus by 4 p.m. unless they are participating in a sponsored club or event.

Due to COVID-19, Maryvale will not be partnering with outside bus companies to provide transportation. We will notify families if this information changes.
