Volunteers participate in one Career Afternoon event (approximately three hours) for students, serving on a panel of speakers who each discuss their current job, career path, educational background, and advice for students. In-person.

Volunteers meet with a group of students over their lunch period and discuss what their position entails and how to prepare for a career in the chosen field.  Little to no preparation is involved as an interview Q& A format is used.  In-person.

Maryvale Alums meet to network and share work experiences, contacts, and advice.  Mostly career and current work focused, with a little bit of socializing on the side!

Volunteers are interviewed or surveyed by 12^th grade Leadership students performing research related to a specific career and leadership opportunities and challenges. In-person or Zoom.

Complimentary seminar-style professional development sessions for adults on career planning, on-boarding, job change, resume preparation, interviewing, negotiation, and leadership skills self-assessment.

Volunteers visit with students (60 minutes) in one class to discuss their career path, leadership experiences, and advice for students. Speakers are needed for leadership classes as well as specific subject matter courses. Little to no preparation is involved as an interview Q& A format is used.  In-person or by Zoom.
