Maryvale has a growing instrumental music ensemble. Students in grades 6-12 may participate in our orchestra. Current instrumentation includes flute, clarinet, horn, violin, cello, percussion and keyboard.   All instruments and all levels are welcome.

Students improve their technique, music reading and ensemble skills in our instrumental rehearsal sessions. Music fundamentals are also reinforced. A wide selection of music is included in the repertoire chosen for this ensemble.  

The instrumental ensemble performs Maryvale’s fall, winter and spring concerts each year. Participants also join forces with Loyola Blakefield’s ensemble for concerts and festival activities.
