Retreats

Maryvale's mission and philosophy acknowledges moral and spiritual development, which is highlighted at each grade's annual retreat. This experience, designed to foster the values and traditions of the Catholic faith, focuses on prayer, reflection, and interpersonal relationships among students and in relation to a larger world.

Freshman will attend a daylong program on community building. The sophomore class will participate in a day of service at Oakcrest Village, Gallagher Center or Our Daily Bread. The day will begin and end with prayer and reflection. The junior and senior classes will each have overnight retreats in the spring. Students are encouraged to join planning committees and are invited to submit their ideas and suggestions.
