Campus Ministry and Service

Campus Ministry at Maryvale exists in order to bring about opportunities for students to grow in their spiritual life and foster an atmosphere of Catholic faith tradition. In light of the school’s mission and charism of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, campus ministry strives to uphold the teachings of St. Julie Billiart, to teach young women what they need to know for life.

The presence of campus ministry supports, challenges and encourages students to build upon their relationship with God, others, and their own development. Community Service is an integral component of campus ministry. Students are empowered to respond to their call to service with a deeper awareness and to live Gospel values throughout life. The campus minister is available to students, faculty and staff for spiritual direction, pastoral care and counseling.
