Health Suite

Maryvale’s Health Suite is open to students during regular school hours for first aid treatment, dispensing of medication authorized by the parent and the physician, and attention to special needs of the students. A cooperative approach with parents, physicians, guidance counselor, and faculty, under the direction of the Headmistress, enables our registered nurses to promote a safe and healthy environment. The Health Suite is located on the first floor of the Castle.

The Maryvale Preparatory School AED Program is currently approved for on-site Automated External Defibrillator use by the State of Maryland. There are two AEDs in place on campus and fourteen faculty and staff members certified to provide CPR and trained in the use of the AED.

A certified athletic trainer from Towson Sports Medicine is on campus during sports practices and games. Her duties include evaluation, treatment, referral, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
