Posted 04/20/2017 09:05PM

Maryvale Upper School Art students enjoyed a day outside of the classroom as they traveled to Washington DC to visit the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. While touring the museum, the group had the incredible opportunity to experience Yayoi Kusama’s “Infinity Rooms” exhibit, a world-renowned display that stimulates an unmatched sensory journey through the mind and celebrates the legacy of one of the world’s most popular artists. The girls also drew inspiration from premier artists as they participated in hands-on demonstrations. Through numerous field trips, exercises and competitions during the school year, Maryvale’s talented art students continue to enhance their own creative techniques, produce beautiful masterpieces and achieve prominent recognitions.
