Educating girls requires more than great faculty and innovative curriculum; it requires generous community involvement. As a parent, grandparent or special friend, there are many ways to get involved and participate actively in the daily life at Maryvale to provide support beyond tuition.
Maryvale strives to improve the quality of campus life by offering programs and events that encourage participation by the whole school community. Our three parent organizations, the Mothers' Club, Fathers' Club and Sports Boosters, are always in need of volunteers to assist with their various events and fundraisers.
Admissions Ambassadors – Word of mouth is our most powerful marketing tool, and every Maryvale parent is an ambassador for the school. Admissions Ambassadors help at Open House, Mornings @ Maryvale, share their stories with applicants, congratulate and welcome accepted students at receptions and more.
Advancement – Parents, alumnae, faculty and staff, parents of alumnae, grandparents and friends work with the Advancement Office to raise unrestricted funds, which surpassed its goal in the 2015-2016 fiscal year.
Archives – Volunteers dedicate time to sort inventory and conserve materials from Maryvale’s history.
Communications – All Maryvale community members can help by spreading all of the positive Maryvale news through their own social media accounts.
Fundraising Events – Maryvale is grateful for the dozens of parents who lend their time and talents each year to the school. As a parent, there are many ways to get involved in the life of Maryvale. Our three parent organizations, the Mothers' Club, Fathers' Club and Sports Boosters, are always in need of volunteers to assist with various fundraising events.
