A Letter from the President of the Alumnae Association
Dear Fellow Alumnae,
I am honored to serve as president of the Maryvale Alumnae Association for the 2016 – 2017 school year. Since the first day I walked onto campus in 1985, Maryvale has always held a special place in my heart. Over the years, I have returned to Maryvale to help out with Alumnae Association events, Open Houses and even coached Middle School lacrosse with a fellow alumna. I feel that it is important to support and give back to the place that has given so much to me. I have so many memories of my days at Maryvale. I want to help ensure that future generations of girls will be able to do the same. For this to happen, we need your involvement and support, fellow alumnae. Please consider being an active member of the Alumnae Association.
Through Maryvale’s website, social media and the weekly Maryvale Minute, I realize now, more than ever, the importance of staying in touch. Our Association has several avenues throughout the year to keep you engaged, but we need your updated email address to keep you connected.
We will be inviting you to several exciting events this year, including the Santa in the Castle, Young Alumnae Breakfast, Jubilee Luncheon and Reunion Champagne Toast. Additionally, 12 classes will celebrate reunions! Look for a calendar of events under the alumnae section of the Maryvale website.
Finally, I ask that you keep in mind the importance of your participation in the Maryvale Fund. You can expect classmates to be contacting you by phone, Facebook or a quick note to ask for your much needed support. No gift is too small, and all gifts will be directed toward your particular interest or program. You may click here to make an online contribution today.
I invite you to come back to campus and see how Maryvale has evolved during the years to be a competitive force in the Baltimore independent school market. We alumnae are a vital part of Maryvale’s past, present and future. Won’t you join us?
