Posted February 1
There is so much happening at Maryvale that I almost wish February had a few more days in it! A big thank you to our senior class representatives for preparing a much appreciated Faculty Breakfast. It’s always so nice to show the faculty how much we really care about them and what they do for our daughters.
Now for the upcoming events. There are flyers and/or PDFs attached for all of these so refer to them for complete information.
Our Snow Tubing Trip will be on Friday, February 10. We will leave Maryvale at 5 p.m. by bus if we get enough participation or by carpool. This is always a popular event for our Middle School girls, but we also encourage the Upper School girls to attend. Many thanks to Ed and Tamara Croft for chairing this event. Please refer to the flyer for cost and RSVP information.
Father/Daughter Bowling will take place on Sunday, March 4 at Taylor’s Stoneleigh Duckpin Lanes at 4 p.m. The cost of $13 per person includes bowling, shoes, pizza and soda. Thank you, Shaun Kilduff for organizing this fun event! Again, refer to the flyer for all information.
Please join us on Sunday, March 11 from noon to 4 p.m. for our much anticipated Fashion Show, SURVIVOR 2012. Everyone is encouraged to come! This event highlights our Class of 2012 as models. We will have the ever-popular class baskets, some great wine & dine and teen treats, and an incredible selection of silent auction items. Invitations and raffle tickets were mailed on February 1, but also refer to the flyer for more information. The younger girls love watching the seniors and dreaming of their day to walk the runway. This is an awesome event so I hope to see you there! If you have any questions, please contact me or co-chair, Jeannine Moriconi.
Finally, it isn’t too early to start thinking about the every famous Maryvale Golf Classic. Steve Bond and Ed Croft are planning a great day on Monday, May 7. The day starts with registration and lunch at 11 a.m., and ends with awards and a silent & live auction at 5:30 p.m. Please refer to the attached PDF and consider participating in this incredible event.
As you can see, I wasn’t kidding when I was hoping for a little more time in February to organize and plan all these great activities. I hope you find one or more to attend.
We would love to see you there!
