Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is an indispensable source of direct support for the annual operating budget. Maryvale depends upon the Annual Fund to meet some of its most compelling needs, including faculty salaries, classroom technology, campus maintenance – those elements which, year in and year out, comprise Maryvale’s outstanding educational environment. Annual Fund contributions help to underwrite every part of a Maryvale education. 


Donor recognition societies

All gifts are appreciated and welcome. However, specific giving levels are recognized on an annual basis. Corporate matching funds count toward all recognition levels, and donors can often leverage the value of their gift to move up to a higher recognition category.  Donors supporting Maryvale with gifts of $1,000 and more are invited to a special recognition event.

How Annual Fund gifts are used at Maryvale

What does Maryvale mean to you? 

Does it invoke images of the Castle? Do you picture confident students wearing their red blazers? Do you hear the happy chatter of girls as they pass from one class to another?  Or is it the performing arts, athletic games, or one of the many traditions that make Maryvale the warm and caring school it is today?

Maryvale is so many images to so many people. It is the students, of course, with their spirit, charm and youth. It is the Faculty who come to work each day ready to contribute to their students’ growth and success. It is the alumnae who come back to campus knowing that their time at Maryvale contributed to the foundation that shaped their lives. And, it is the parents who trust Maryvale with their daughter’s education, both academically and spiritually. Together, WE are Maryvale.

Maryvale’s success is linked to each of us. I feel very fortunate to have attended Maryvale, and I know that my education here helped me to develop skills, poise, and friendships that will last a lifetime.  I give to the Annual Fund Campaign each year as a way of saying “thank you” to Maryvale and also because I want to support the development of tomorrow’s women leaders—the Maryvale girls of today!  My giving to Maryvale is one of the best ways I can help shape the future and continue the school’s current level of excellence.
