What is the Annual Fund?

The Annual Fund is an indispensable source of direct support for the annual operating budget. Maryvale depends upon the Annual Fund to meet some of its most compelling needs, including faculty salaries, classroom technology, campus maintenance -- those elements which, year in and year out, comprise Maryvale's outstanding educational environment. Annual Fund contributions help to underwrite every part of a Maryvale education.

Why is Annual Fund participation so important to Maryvale?

Participation in the Annual Fund is an opportunity for alumnae, parents, past parents, grandparents, friends, faculty and staff to support Maryvale's mission by providing the margin of excellence that has become the school's hallmark. Strong participation sends a solid message that these constituents care about the school. Foundations and corporations often request percentages of participation as they consider their own contributions.

What giving options do I have?

Gifts of cash and securities are the most common forms of support to Maryvale. Checks are payable to Maryvale Preparatory School. To make a gift using VISA or MasterCard, just click here. What is a matching gift?

Many companies will match your gift to Maryvale. You may double or even triple the impact of your gift by taking advantage of your employer's matching gift program. Just get a matching gift form from your human resources department, fill it out completely and send it to Maryvale according to your employer's guidelines.

How much should I give?

Your gift may be of any amount. Recent Annual Fund gifts ranged from $10 to more than $50,000, but it is your participation that Maryvale values most.

When should I give?

Gifts contributed early save on follow-up mailings and help build momentum, inspiring others to contribute. Our fiscal year is from July 1-June 30.

What are donor recognition societies?

All gifts are appreciated and welcome. However, specific giving levels are recognized on an annual basis. Corporate matching funds count toward all recognition levels, and donors can often leverage the value of their gift to move up to a higher recognition category.

Donors from the Donor Recognition Societies will be recognized in the Annual Report.
