Responding to the call of ministry in Catholic education, Campus Ministry serves as an integral part of the community and spiritual life at Maryvale. In alignment with the school’s mission, “to provide an environment in which each student can reach her academic, spiritual, physical, and civic potential in a loving, supportive and diverse community” and the charism of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, Campus Ministry strives to uphold the teachings of St. Julie Billiart by, “teaching young women what they need to know for life.”

Students have the opportunity to participate in the National Catholic Youth Conference, the High School Leadership Program (High-Li), Palm Sunday Pilgrimage, programs associated with the Archdiocese of Baltimore’s Division of Youth and Young Adult Ministry, other conferences, and additional leadership events

The presence of Campus Ministry supports, challenges and encourages students to build upon their relationship with God, others, and their own development. Students are empowered to respond to God’s calling to live in a deeper awareness to all they are called to be and to become.
