Dear Fellow Alumna,
As a proud alumna of Maryvale, I am honored to serve as the president of the Maryvale Alumnae Association for the 2013-2014 school year. The year 2012 introduced a new era in our school's history with the welcome of our first lay president, Tracey H. Ford, the excitement of Erinn McCarthy Humanities Hall, as well as the completion of the new athletic fields and track. As you can imagine, Maryvale is a force within the Baltimore competitive school market. The enthusiasm on campus is palpable.
With Maryvale’s website and official alumnae Facebook page, I realize now more than ever the importance of staying in touch. Our Association has several avenues throughout the year to keep you engaged, but we need your updated email address to keep you connected. Please click here to join our Alumnae Directory.
We will be inviting you to several exciting events this year including the Alumnae Book Club, Alumnae Shadow Day, Santa in the Castle, Young Alumnae Breakfast, Jubilee Luncheon, and Alumnae Cocktail Party. Additionally, 10 classes will celebrate reunions! Look for a calendar of events under the alumnae section of the Maryvale website.
Finally, I ask that you keep in mind the importance of your participation in the Annual Fund. Your class reps will be contacting you by phone, Facebook, or a quick note to ask for your much-needed support. No gift is too small, and all gifts will be directed toward faculty development, campus maintenance, financial assistance and scholarships. Please click here to make an online contribution today. With all the additions to our campus master plan, there are many areas in which your gift will make a great impact.
I invite you to come back to campus often to share your thoughts and recommendations as a proud alumna, and to be an active part of this dynamic school!
