During her four years in the Upper School, a student must earn a minimum of 25 credits to graduate. All students take six major courses as well as Theology and Physical education each year. The minimum requirements for graduation are listed below:
- English – 4 credits/1 per year
- Social Studies – 3 credits (Introduction to Social Sciences, World History, U.S. History)
- Mathematics – 4 credits (Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II/Trigonometry, and one elective)
- Science – 3 credits (Biology, Chemistry, and one elective)
- Foreign Language – 3 credits (French or Spanish for three consecutive years)
- Fine Arts – 1 credit/0.5 Music; 0.5 Art
- Electives - 4 credits
- Technology - 0.5 credits
- Theology – 2 credits/0.5 each year
- Physical Education – 2 credits/0.5 each year
- Health - 0.5 credit
- Community Service – 100 hours for graduation (25 hours per Upper School year at Maryvale is recommended)
